Tackling Stretch Marks

Lets talk stretch marks. I know that many women love their skin, even with stretch marks, which is absolutely amazing! Carrying a baby for over 9 months is incredible but can also cause stretch marks on many parts of a women's body. While stretch marks are very normal on a women's body, they can still make many women feel uncomfortable.

When I was pregnant with my first child Mila, I did a bit of research and found a perfect combination for myself every morning and night.  Adding the combination of oil and lotion to my legs, butt, and stomach insure minimal stretch marks. Be careful what you choose to use on your body, many creams and oils claim to eliminate stretch marks when in reality they don't. I will mention that many times it doesn't matter what you try, stretch marks can be hereditary and many women react to lotions and oils differently.

Just as you do with your face serums put on the thin product first. In this instance you put on Burt's Bees Mama Bees oil first then the belly butter on top. I really massaged the Burt's Bees Mama Bees oil in to my stomach to absorb. I did this at night because I did feel a little "tacky" or oily after application and I didn't want that all over my work clothes.

Put a quarter sized amount in the palm of your hand, rub together and use on your legs, butt, and stomach. A little goes a long ways with bio oil. Please adjust the amount you are using based on where you are applying.
