Summer maternity clothes

You guys. I was pregnant two summers in a row and let me tell you it wasn't fabulous.

Its hot and sticky when you are getting bigger and bigger everyday it just gets worse. I feel for the ladies who are 40 weeks pregnant in August. The Iowa humidity plus working in a corporate environment met finding clothes that I could dress up and dress down.

I didn’t want my maternity clothes to be a big investment, so I wanted each piece to be very versatile.

I loved taking a good t-shirt dress (both maternity and non) pairing it with a jean jacket and Sperry’s or putting a suit jacket and heels on to dress it up. On days I had an important meeting I would add a statement necklace or earring.

I bought every piece of maternity clothes off Amazon. It took some digging but I found pieces that were both inexpensive and good quality! The most important thing to look for is a good thick (not too thick) material that doesn’t turn see through the rounder you get.

I also looked for items with a wide maternity band on the top, make sure this band is good quality as you will want each item to fit you your entire pregnancy and the worst part is having a band cut off your belly.

Below I have linked some of the dresses I purchased throughout both pregnancies. My favorite brand is Missufe from Amazon (the green dress below) I had it in multiple colors. All are great quality!
